Mission & Vision
The Allensworth Progressive Association (APA) plays a distinct role in addressing the community’s priorities. APA’s work is centered on Community Development and Culture, Education, Farming and Food Sovereignty, Energy Sovereignty, and Water Sovereignty. Through intentional coordination with community residents, stakeholders, and partners, the APA works to address identified gaps, strengthen local capacity, and contribute to a cohesive, community-driven approach to community building. This allows APA to maximize impact while supporting long-term sustainability and resiliency, serving as a model climate resilient rural community in the great Central Valley of California.
