The Allensworth Model for Rural Climate Resilience and BIPOC Self-Sufficiency presents a community-led vision for addressing the interconnected challenges of climate change, environmental injustice, and economic inequality in the Central Valley. Developed through collaborative planning between the Allensworth Progressive Association and partners, this strategic framework identifies six transformative projects designed to advance climate adaptation, environmental stewardship, and community prosperity.
An overview of our Regenerative Farm Enterprise Plan braiding together the vision, values, and priorities reflected in the Allensworth Community Plan. It offers both a high-level rationale for each enterprise area as well as practical roadmaps: revenue calculations and projections with multiple variables, based on conditions and scale information available or assumed at a point in time. As such, it is intended as a living document, to be revised and amended based on actual acreage and commensurate inputs. In accordance with our values, planning for the macro Farm Enterprise and its interdependent programs has taken shape over the past several years within a systems thinking framework, guided by principles of interconnectedness, emergence, and feedback loops centering community members. 
This plan provides a roadmap for building on the existing cultural, ecological, and social assets of Allensworth to develop a beautiful and climate-resilient rural community that provides a safe place to live, learn, work, play, and prosper and attracts community-minded residents, including families, veterans, and retirees.
